PGEC: The Terence Mortimer Postgraduate Centre

A large Edwardian house with its own car park which was converted and opened in 1975. It is located on the hospital site but within its own large garden with access both from the hospital and the main Oxford Road which makes it accessible for both hospital and external users.

The Centre's position near to the M40 gives easy access to Oxford, London, Birmingham, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, and the Cotswolds. The surroundings are ideal for creating informal and productive meetings and over the years has led to close co-operation between all grades of medical, dental, nursing and paramedical professions.

The facilities consist of:

A lecture hall to seat 70 delegates, a versatile room with retractable tiered seating.

Two seminar rooms each with seating capacity for 10 - 14 people.

A Common room, including a bar area, with excellent catering, armchairs and television.

Equipment:

The Centre has the latest audio-visual equipment including video-projector, visualiser, projecting microscope, image scanner and digital cameras.
