GPR Audits

Although there is no longer the requirement to submit an audit or project for external marking as part of summative assessment, GPRs are still required to perform an audit, and trainers to confirm in the e portfolio that this has been done to an acceptable standard. We suggest you use the cogped 8 criteria marking schedule as a guide to the way the audit should be written up in order to meet the required standard.

In order to share and value the work done in these projects, and to confirm that the audits have been done to the standard required, we will be asking all GPRs to present their audits to their peers, the c/os and any interested trainers during the Tuesday VTS programme.
We will try and integrate the audit presentations into the curriculum and supplement them with further teaching about the issues raised.

We therefore suggest the following deadlines.

November 1st – To have chosen your topic and informed your trainer and the c/os of the topic
March 31st, audits written up and submitted to your trainer and the c/os

April 1st onwards, audits will be presented during the VTS sessions – probably at lunch times so that trainers and ST1 and 2 docs can attend.

After your audit has been presented and confirmed as meeting the required standard, you will be given a certificate by the c/os, and your trainer will confirm this in your e portfolio.
