Welcome to the Banbury GP Training Programme

 

 Our Mission

To provide excellent learner centred education in an Oxford Radcliffe linked DGH with first-rate GP Training Practices.
 
 Training Programme Profile

The Banbury scheme is designed to provide appropriate training for General Practice. Hospital jobs include Paediatrics, Medicine, Psychiatry, Community Obs/Gynae, Emergency Medicine and Dermatology followed by 12-18 months in General Practice.
 
 Teaching

All posts qualify for their appropriate postgraduate examinations as well as providing experience in Child Health Surveillance, Minor Surgery, etc.

There is a regular learning set for ST1 and ST2 doctors.

Each Tuesday the GP ST3s attend a whole Day-Release Course which includes joint days with the Oxford Training Programme.
